Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 07:34 AMYou're right, Sue. Thanks so much Carol for bringing this to our members attention. The way this is described - well it simply sounds so sad for everyone involved.
For members who may be involved with a caregiver or loved one affected by Pick's Disease, please post here and let us know about any experiences that could help others. It seems little research is done in the rare area of dementia, so a "grass roots" information chain might just be in order.
For caregivers looking for support, check out our Caregiver Center. As well, some may be intersted in reading about the differences in the different kinds of dementia.
Hope this helps - looking forward to members posting their thoughts!
All the best, sue moderator
