Carol,

Have you heard about the Wellcore Personal Emergency Response System?  It works based on motion so there is no need for the senior to press a button if they fall.  The lightweight sensor they wear clipped to their clothing senses the fall and automatically calls for help.  And, because the Wellcore works based on motion, it knows if it is not being worn and gently reminds the senior to put it on.  If those reminders go unanswered, Wellcore will send a message to a designated caregiver alerting them.
