As an English literature major, I'm used to hefty 500-page books, however the books of this size that I've enjoyed have generally been 19th Century novels or anthologies of classic prose and poetry.

Carol, you are right on with this! We, too, believe that the Alzheimer's Action Plan is a straight-forward book that caregivers can easily follow, and, we, too, were taken by the respect and dignity given individuals with the disease. While caregivers would be well-served to read the entire Alzheimer's Action Plan, we want to let them know that care ADvantage, the Alzheimer's Foundation of America's free magazine for caregivers, will be running an excerpt from the book in our summer 2008 issue.

AdVantage - the magazine, is a great resource on its own. I'm glad to see you are running an excerpt from it. I believe the book itself is destined to be a classic resource.
