Taking benadryl makes one sleeping in the morning. After I took benadryl as my allergy kicked in, I still felt sleepy in the morning. It is strong for sleeping but bad for waking up. I don't think one should feed the patient with sleeping pills as their clocks are reversed or they are confused with the actitivities enough.

Vitamins or health supplementals could add to the problems. e.g., when one takes the blood thinner caumadin, he/she should not take Q10, the co-enzyme. So the caregivers should try to understand the drugs on the counter also. They are harmless and yet they are harmful when taken with some prescriptions.
