Thanks Carol.  With the Flu Season approaching I bet many folks are contemplating what to do again the year.  For the last several years I have been pregnant or nursing so I have gottena shot and my kids have always gotten them.  However, my parents in the mid sixties ahve never gotten flu shots.  They always claim that people get the flu when they get flu shots - old school thinking based on what used to happen "way back when". 

 

I plan on encouraging them to get the shots this year.  My understanding is that even if the shots don't completing protect us from getting the flu, it reduces the symptoms significantly.  I am all for that!
