Carol you always write about issues that are so profond. I never have thought of how difficult it must be for the men who are going through what I am and I am sorry I haven't thought of them. This disease strikes with out gender or race not being a factor. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for the men especially caring for parents. I know dealing with my husband I try so hard to help him keep as much of his dignity as possible I can't imagine how much harder it would be with a parent. Thank you and I hope many men read this and will reach out to talk. Like I said this disease dosen't discriminate in our society but hopefully after reading your post they will start communicating with many of us. I would be happy and honored for male or female to reach out to me we all share a common bond someone we love has alzheimers and we all need each other to get through this horrible time in our lives. Thank you so much Carol I pray you get many respones from everyone because this is a very important issue. Connie
