    The numbers being reported about how many people are expected to have Alzheimers is scary--especially when you imagine the number of family caregivers that will be impacted.

    Yes, as the population ages, the numbers will become overwhelming to families and the health system. Research and support for caregivers are the only way to go.

     

    If you are caring for someone with Alzheimer's (or any elder), please do remember to take care of yourself by getting respite care.
