I have been on this site so many times I beg you please bare with me. I am furious beyond furious as you all know as I am losing the battle to keep my husband home who has Alzheimers. I have been trying to get my towns newspaper to do a story to let people here who I know must be facing the same frustrations and pain alone a way to reach out to this site. They have not responded despite my many pleas. I want nothing for myself only to help others. I hear nothing and open my paper daily and some of the stuff they put in it is beyond ridiculous. We are a community that has two large hospitals and a very large VA hospital and community of older retired veterans and family. You would think that a month that is also National Alzheimers Awareness month plus Veterans Day thrown in plus a large military base(Ft Hood) less then thirty miles away they would help. NO they will not even respond. I open my computer daily and go to the mail box or run to the phone thinking this is the day that we can finally reach more people NO. I have written again and plan to do so daily begging for them to listen and dear friends please help me. Email them www.tdtnews.com. My name is Connie Moore and I live in Temple TX Help me fight this battle. So many need to find this site I know I cannot be the only one setting here alone fighting a battle that can't be won but can be survived. They need to know we all are here and if nothing else willing to listen. Today my town tomorrow yours, until we get this country we live in to stand up and listen we have no one to talk for us. I plan on getting it out and will spend the last dime I have and my last breath, this is a fight I can win. I may not be able to save my husband from this disease that is wrecking such heartache in our lives but if I can help just one person to get through what I am then I will feel like I have accomplished much in at least helping others to surivie this.
