    You can crush that medicine and mix it into something like applesauce for your DH's snack. Then you can give it to him when *you* are ready. There's no rule that says your DH has to keep you up till 2am every night. Been there~done that. Betty J

    I have finally worked out his schedule and gotten his cooperation to taking his meds. The hospice team are wonderful. They are switching most of his meds to liquid so they can be put in his food or drink. I appreciate the advise. The main reason he tries to stay awake until he gets me up is he's terrified of dying alone.
