As anyone who faithfully reads my blog knows, I am forever in search of anything which will help my memory…and so the saga continues.  I have just bought a Wii—and the Balance Board kit that can be used with it.  I am flabbergasted at the cost of it all—I hate to spend...

    Hello Leah

I have been looking at that for actually since it came out. You know me and wow did you read my mind again. I haven't bought it yet!

I was worried about the cost versus the help so dear friend I am so excited for you and me. Please spend lots of time with it and then may be you can tell me if it is worth the cost and if it will help me with some of the medical issues I have. Also how difficult it is to actually to use, I call myself mechanically challenged. LOL It's like when I say my computer hates me, between all of us here it's the operator not my computer but lets not tell anyone.LOL You are always suprising me with your adventous spirit and your wonderful sense of humor. I always enjoy your posts you always write with such a flair and make it so easy to smile at a time for me that I don't smile much. You always seem so ready to jump in there and you are willing to try anything. Thank you so much you face so much and yet you touch so many with all your wonderful ideas and the help you offer. Kudos to you my friend. Connie

    Hi Leah,

I'm glad your classes are going so well.  It's wonderful that the people who attend them want to hear more and learn more from you.  Think of this as a validation that you are really making a positive difference in peoples lives.  You have a gift which is being able to articulate your thoughts so well.   Your personal personal struggles and experience help inspire others like myself.

I don't have alzheimers but I still take something away from your blogs and that is hope.  Hope that I can overcome my own fears and anxieties and become a more confident person.  Thank you for all the insight you provide me and all the others "out there" you're able to reach out to.   Smile
