Leah you never stop amazing me with the challenges you face and yet keep your sense of humor over you problems. My husband having been a lifer soldier was constantly using KISS only in the bad way. He could be funny about it especially after my accident. After he lost both legs and we would go out together he implimented his new KISS theory cell phones. He said that way he didn't have to worry about where I was he would just call. One day we were at Walmart and my phone rang he was looking for me I turned around and he was right behind me but couldn't see me because of his wheelchair and me not being very tall he didn't see me for the other peope.
Thank you so much for not only wonderful information but Leah you always do it with such flair and humor. Thank you for helping us all in a time when not to many things we are dealing with are funny. You are a marvel. I admire you spunk and spirit so much.

Leah.....Thank you for expressing what I have been trying to explain to family and friends for so long. I appreciate you telling it like it is. I will print this out so YOU will be able to tell family and friends what I have been trying to say for so long. Thanks...thanks....thanks
Sandy
It's so good to hear from you, Sandy!
It is hard to explain to those around us what is happening, what we are thinking...
I went to a graduate class on metacognition once. Loved it. I guess that is why I am able to translate into words what is happening and what thoughts are running through my head. I can't think of any other reason why I am able to untangle this web that dementia weaves...
It makes me grateful to know that your family may better understand where YOU are now! Thanks for making my day! God bless you.
Leah
Wonderful Information! I appreciate you so very much!
