Keep gathering information, Leah. I think we all have some sleep problems as we age. Dementia provides a bigger challenge, but it's a topic few of us would find uninteresting.

The information you provide is extremely helpful.  Someone close to me is exhibiting signs of dementia and she is in her late 50's.  Somehow I assumed (or hoped) that someone in their late fifties could not have dementia.  The onset of mood swings and paranoia make it a challenge to convince the person to see a physician.  Any advice? Thank You
