Thanks for this information, Dorian. Since, during autopsies, plaques are often found in the brains of elderly people who show no signs of dementia, it only makes sense that this test is just a tool in a whole kit of tests. AD is so complicated that only a series of tests can come close to making a correct diagnosis. Guidelines such as these are a step forward.
