Thanks for the post, Dorian. I was fortunate to be able to take time off in hours, so that helped. But I certainly could have used more flexiblity. As more people juggle caregiving with jobs, more opportunities for working from home would certainly help. In this age of technology, that's not so far fetched. Unfortuntely, it sometimes can still be viewed as not being focused on work.
