You are so very right, Eric! My name is Leah and I write a blog for ouralzheimers.com from the standpoint of one who has vascular dementia. Ever since I got my diagnosis, I have forthright to everyone I know and have met. I want them to know that there are real people behind the stigmatic diseases of alzheimers and dementia. It is nothing to be ashamed of. People do not need to fear us. Thank you for your article, and keep up the good work. Hope you'll read my blog sometime!
You can email me at leahtown@comcast.net, if you want to correspond.
God bless you.
