Eric Hall Thank you so much. I am the primary caregiver of my husband that has alzheimers. I found this site by accident, I am on a mission to get the town I live in Temple TX that has a large VA hospital and many disabled veterans and their families here, I am also including any one that is caring for or has alzheimers to be able to find this web site. I tell everyone I meet about it and how much it has helped me but I am now trying to get our paper The Temple Daily Telegram to write a story about my husband and me so we can let more people find this site and be able to recieve what i have. Caring for a loved one with alzheimers is a 24/7 job and it leaves very little time to get out and attend meetings, this site has been a life line for me when I was barely hanging on by a thread and I know there must be many in the same situation I am in that needs this site and the support we get here. I am in no way trying to not encourage people to go to the meetings that are held here I just want others to know that there are other options so when they can't leave home they can reach someone day or night and be able to talk, it helps to at least just be able to talk or vent. This web site is fantastic and I have seen nothing in the places you would think it might be. We recieve the AARP news letter and the DAV news letter neither one of these list this site we have to change this. I am not a professionial just some one that is living, caring for and trying to survive this disease. Please if you know of anything that will help me accomplish this I would be so greatful. This being national alzheimers awareness month is the perfect time to try to get communities to become proactive for this fight. Thank you so very much. Connie
