    I've been fascinated at the rate that Alzheimer's has begun to show up in popular culture. When I first wrote my book, I was told "no one was interested in the subject." Now, I just shake my head. I don't watch TV much, or even go to movies, as I'd rather read. But a couple of widely acclaimed movies have come out, of late - "The Savages" and "Away from her," both of which our expert Dorian Martin wrote about.

     

    I am now finishing a novel based on Alzheimer's and some moral questions. I believe we'll see more as time goes on.
