I am a retired 33 year State of Tennessee employee who provided management and oversite to treatment facilities for juvenile delinquents. I thought I had seen it all and could deal with any situation that came my way. I was retired in October 2009 and we moved Mom into assisted living due to Alzheimer's the following January. People ask me how I like retirement and I wish I had an answer for them. My Dad and I focus on making sure Mom's needs get met and I focus on Daddy's needs getting met.
