Uncle Al:         Good morning campers!  As you do every day, please let us know what name you will go by on this day and we'll post it next to your photograph in the rec room.  In case you've forgotten it, you can ask us or go to the board.  ...

Thanks, Sue!  We had fun making videos and writing for Health Central.  Ask them to bring The Midlife Gals back so we can reek laughter again for those ailing and those aiding those ailing!

A colleague of mine ran a camping trip for folks with Alzheimer Disease. She said it was spectacular. They played games, had campfires, roasted marshmallows and sang campfire songs...anything you would usually do at a camp. Everyone was engaged, enjoyed being in nature and seemed to instinctively know what to do at camp. Wandering wasn't an issue, either.

We should do more of this kind of thing.

Camp was just plain FUN...whether you have Alzheimers or not, wasn't it?  Thanks for your comment.  We would love to make more videos and write more postings for Health Central...so from your lips to 'their' ears might bring The Midlife Gals back to Health Central!
