SAVE THE DATE!  SPECIAL SEMINAR IN NYC TO HELP YOU REMAIN INDEPENDENT IN YOUR OWN HOME, AS YOU GROW OLDER

When: Thursday, June 11th, 7 PM –9PM

Title: Remaining Independent: Navigating Health Care for Our Loved Ones and Ourselves

Sponsored by: Jewish Community Center in Manhattan and Partners in Care

Start planning now for how you want to live as you or your loved one get older, before “What if….” becomes “Now what?”

Practical tools and tips to help you physically, emotionally and financially take control of life while dealing with the challenges of growing old. The Jewish Community Center of Manhattan and Partners in Care, the largest licensed home care agency in NYC, will present a panel of experts to discuss methods to help manage the serious challenges that come along with taking care of a loved one suffering from a chronic disease or how you can find the resources you will need.

The panel will include a doctor/geriatrician, a registered nurse/case manager, and an elder law attorney – all who will address the medical issues, private home care options, and legal/financial considerations that you and your loved ones may face as a chronic disease progresses. Bring your questions to the experts to get the answers you and your loved ones need to live as safely and independently as possible.
