everyone deserves love and dignity

By kimcares Saturday, January 24, 2009

i am looking for connections to getting a caregiving daycare started for free of charge. i want to start a non-proffit store that would support this and employ others.  i have great healthcare worker connections as i have been doing this for some time and took care of my mother with this disease. so any comment could be helpful.   this is my goal.  i have no money only compassion and experience.

Your compassion shines through and I hope you can find funding for this project. It is sorely needed. However, you'll have to find business advice from someone in your state. Maybe you could write a proposal and even send it to your state congressman? You have pure reasons for this very complicated attempt. There will be much red tape. Non-profit laws vary by state. Please keep pursuing your dream.

thanks for your support, unfortunatley i do not have the resouses or the time right now, but i would love to keep pursuing.  i just dont want to get bogged down in red tape and rules and regulations.  i will find a way.

I know. It's daunting. It would be so great if good people could help good people. I was encouraged to go non-profit at one time (with Minding Our Elders), but I just didn't have time to deal with the red tape and paper work.

Take care. You are already helping people and you will find a way to continue.

Blessings,

A terrific first step. And save the receipt, in case you can use it for a business deduction.

Take care,

Carol
