  • Combs Commercial Desk Clock and Calendar - Quartz

We have been contacted by many relieved carers, nursing professionals and relatives who have finally found this clock and calendar. They have pleaded with us to advise people about this fantastic clock, as they have spend lots of time and energy contacting numerous organisations looking for this type of clock but to no avail, until they found this combs commerical desk clock and caldendar on our website.

This clock is fully automatic and with a fully automatic perptual calendar once set it will keep constant time including changing itself in terms of leap years and differing month lengths, this clock is superb for those whose memory may be fading due to Alzheimer's disease and early signs of dementia. It may also be used in conjunction with medication organisers and can be wall mounted if required.

After scouring the internet, my sister found this great clock!

    Features:

    YEAR

    Month & date

    Analog clock face

Day of week including AM vs. PM

    It's quite large:  12.5" x 12.5"

@ $80, it's expensive, but our Mother needs this.

We need the YEAR.  We need AM & PM.  I think I'm going to have to become an inventor and distributor of USEFUL products for the elderly and their caregivers.  A lot of products seem great on the surface but show a lack of full thought.  People with memeory problems can't tell the difference between night and day and they also have problems...

Sorry but this is not what I'm looking for.

This clock is great in theory. A word of warning though: don't let the patient pick it up or move it as the numerals will "flop" over altering the date if it is tipped forward or backwards. This has happend with my father who, by the way, conveniently also threw the instruction booklet out around the same time!

It is not easy to set up in the first place and a degree in fiddly clock setting is required. Seriously though, it is a big help as long as nobody moves it once set up. Or if you do move it make sure you still have the instruction booklet to re-set!

I placed a phone order with the US Office.  He was polite and professional.  The process was easy and I thank him for that!  RP

I need a clock that prominently displays AM or PM time.  My mother never knows if it's day or night.

I am a caregiver and would very much like to purchase the clock with the

month, date  and year.  He is 97 and always asking what day it is. and the time.

It would be good to have that clock in front of him.

Great recommendation!  Here's the website for the US distributor, you can call them directly - their number is on the Contacts page:  http://www.eacombs.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=9&Itemid=11

I bought both a wall clock and the desk model.

When I click the link, I receive a message that this store is now closed...does anyone know any information that may help us find this clock?
I've seen others but the reviews aren't as good.

    Thanks,

    Eve
