My Mom & Alz.

By momdukes Saturday, May 21, 2011

My mom has Alz. she is in the final stages.  This is 2011 when I think back their were signs back in 1992 but we did not realze it.  She was starting to forget simple things she was telling this to my girls her oldest grans she did not understand why she was so forgetful.  She was an elementary sdchool teacher for 33 years and was very good at her job.  Her mom had Alz. and three of her brothers, her oldest brother shows no signs at all.  Alz is a ugly illness it takes the life out of wonderful people, as I am sure all of you know.  Such a strong outgoing and helpful woman has been reduced to someone who can barely breath.  I do no think about that I look at all of the people she has helped in this life they are doming out of the wood work, most I know some I do not, but apparently her good works were far reaching.  That makes which makes loosing her eaiser.Innocent  There is a song that we sing "May the work I've Done Speak for me"  Hers are doing that now!Innocent

Hi there

It is Merely Me.  I got notice you wrote something...I am glad I stopped by to read.  I didn't know your mom has alzheimers.  How are you coping?  How is your MS lately?  I have always admired how well you deal with all that is on your plate.  I don't know how you do it.

You will have to stop on over to MyDepressionConnection sometime.  We miss you!

Please take care of yourself through this.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your mom.

Hi Merely so glad to hear from you miss talking to you.  I am doing good with my MS I have not been to the doc since I got my Medicare so I have not tried the new drug yet.  Regarding my mom she passed today.Innocent but I am doing all right, because I did not want to see her suffer and neither did my dad.  She is in a better place now, and is better off than all of usWink if that is your belief, it is mine.  My pops is doing all right and so are my girls so I am ok.  I will keep you posted.  I have missed talking with you, we have got to keep in touch.
