We have just returned from Las Vegas and all three of us had a wonderful time. My MIL was tired after the long flight to LV but held up well once she began playing the penny slot machines. She loves those crazy things. We made sure that one of us was with her at all times while playing as her eyesight is not good and we wanted her to feel comfortable that no one was going to "take her money". Little did she realize that it was that machine that was taking her money...LOL.
She had her own room and never had a problem with sleeping except when they imploded the New Frontier on Tuesday morning. We told her that it was going to happen so she waited until after the BOOM to go to bed. That made for a slower start on Tuesday but we were fine with that since we had gone down to the site to watch the implosion first hand.
We were all glad to get back to Mass on Wednesday and she has talked about nothing else since our return from LV. We may never get a chance to take her on a trip like this again so we are so happy she has this to remember.

Thank you so much for telling us about your trip- it sounds wonderful!
It's sad, but true - you never know when you'll be able to do something like take a loved one on a trip like that again. I know you are so excited, and so happy for her, that she has this to remember, and chat about all day long!
Keep us up to date!
