Friday, September 18, 2009 at 08:19 PMThank you and I have looked at this article you wrote and once again have learned so much from you. Today I moved my Mother to a Catholic skilled nursing facility that her sister lived in for many years. A move at this time is stressful but necessary...luckily the nuns, priest and many of the staff remembered my Aunt who was a resident for 10 years and already knew my Mother from years ago when she would visit her sister. Everyone rallied around us today to make this transition easier.
Again, thank you for all of your consistent sharing of knowledge and support.

Your Mom
N.C.
Friday, September 18, 2009 at 12:57 PMJan, I am so sorry that you are losing your Mom in speech. I am glad she was able to tell you that she loves you. It is so precious.
I am thankful about your posts regarding your mother. I have learned so much from you. My father-in-law seems to be just one step behind yoru Mom and he is getting to be sicker and will soon to be in late stage 6 or stage 7. Maybe in 6 months or 1 year. Reading your posts makes me understand my FIL more.
You and your Mom are in my prayers.
Nina
