About Me
My husband and I are taking care of my father-in-law who has moderate/severe Alzheimer's Disease (AD) from a long distance. We hired home care that provides 24 hours care. We deal with all his finances. My hubby and his Dad were from Poland 45 years ago. My father-in-law lives in Evanston, IL and he is a professor-emeritus with severe memory loss.
We are Americans but my hubby and I live in Canada now. I am also a cancer survivor for 9 years. I felt that many people may not be interested in Alzheimer's and yet I have many questions and thoughts. I am glad I found this site for support.
