Yesterday, Nov. 15th, the Senate said it would push for legislation that would increase penalties on nursing homes that did not give proper care to its patients, in addition to requiring more transparent ownership. Their hope is that more enforcement power will be given to the Centers for Medica...
This is such an importnat issue. I hope those managing and working in these facilities take charge of those in their care and realize that there will be more penalities for their neglect and mistreatment.
Maybe they will even see their moral obligations to their care for the elderly.
