Best-selling fantasy author Terry Pratchett announced yesterday that he has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. He is 59.
Despite the diagnosis, Pratchett says he's got at least two books still in him, and is currently working on two projects, one entitled "Nation", the other "Unseen Academicals".
He is best known for his Discworld series which revolve around the planet Ankh- Morpork.
