Only Children Vs. Sharing Decisions With Siblings – Which is Easier?

I would think the one good thing about being an only child is you look for help early in the game and don't try to take too much on yourself.

I think it is easier if this only child does not need to consult any relatives and has no

trouble getting along with the people in the family. It is true for decision making. However for burden itself, it is quite a burden and I hope these kind of families have a good plan for long-term care. Long-term care for Alzheimer's is a long and hard road. So more support groups are recommended for single-child family caregivers. I even believe that in the future, it is the community that supports long-term care. Not many families these days have a large family anymore.
