Another understaffed, sad, situation.

Dad fell and broke his hip Christmas night. To make a long story short...it was frustrating both in the hospital and rehabilitation, with the lack of knowledge that the staff in both facilities were equipped with in regards to Dementia. This is harder than anything else I've dealt with.

My husband and I have been caring for his aunt for over a year now. When we first got the call that she was in the hospital due to a stoke for not taking her medication. Then we found out she had dementia, so we moved back to where she lived to care for her. Loosing a Piece of "Me"
