Diagnosis

At a Glance

There is no definitive test to diagnose Alzheimer's disease, even in patients showing signs of dementia.  Most patients are "diagnosed" using a combination of several tests and screenings that will both rule out other disorders and measure the progress of brain function and memory loss.
