Early symptoms of Alzheimer's disease are often dismissed as normal signs of aging.  Symptoms distinct to Alzheimer's are forgetfulness of recent events, loss of concentration, language problems, forgetting the names of objects and people, mood and behavior changes, apathy and depression.
