Exercise is an important tool in the prevention of Alzheimer's, as it improves blood flow, brings essential oxygen and nutrients to the brain to function well, reduces stress hormones, and increases chemicals that nourish brain cells. Not only can exercise ward off depression, but it can also prevent damage to brain tissue.
