Psychosis

At a Glance

Alzheimer's disease can cause psychosis in a patient, which can dramatically change their personality. Delusions, hallucinations and extreme confusion, suspicion or fear can overcome your loved one. Rapid mood swings for no apparent reason is also a behavioral trait of Alzheimer's.
