Alternative Treatments

At a Glance

In addition to any physician-prescribed medication, some patients choose to undergo alternative treatments for Alzheimer's disease.  These treatments can include: Ginkgo biloba, Omega-3, various vitamins and herbs, physical exercise regimens, acupuncture, etc.  Any treatment not specifically prescribed by a doctor should be vetted by your doctor before started.
