Alzheimer's is one form of dementia.  I have found great information on the HealthCentral site.  If you visit the site regularly, you will find many experts who can help you understand what Alzheimer's is, the stages it goes through, and how you can help your mother as she deals with it.  There are very experienced caregivers who help you deal with the physical and psychological issues which can come up.
