Topics:In-home CareAdvice

Our mother is 89 years old and in relatively good health. She is very active and cares for herself and her home.  She has had a colostomy for thirty years and has a large hernia on her stoma.  In the past year we have noticed problems with her short term memory and her doctors have perscribed Aricept. We are very concerned about side effects causing problems with her colostomy.

It is important to consult with a physician about this matter to rule out any medical possibilities that could potentially lead to complications. For more specific information about Aricept and its possible side effects, please check Pfizer's Aricept website.
