Q: Is anyone interested in working with a high school student on graduate level reasearch?

I am a student in an advanced science research program at my high school and am interested in conducting graduate level research on Alzheimer's Disease.  I am looking for an expert in the field of neurology who would be willing to guide me through a research project and be my mentor.  Can you recommend anyone who may be interested in working with a high school student?

Hi, Jordan,

I'm so glad that you're interested in pursuing research into Alzheimer's. I don't know of anyone specifically to point you to, but you might want to contact some of the Alzheimer's research centers to see if they can put you in touch with someone. Here are some I found:

Johns Hopkins Alzheimer's Disease Research Center

http://www.alzresearch.org/

Byrd Alzheimer's Center and Research Institute

Stanford/VA Alzheimer's Research Center

Medical College of Georgia's Alzheimer's Research Center

Take care and keep us posted on your search.
