Hi Miranda, This could be early Alzheimer's, but it could be a different dementia or it could be mini-strokes. He definitely needs a checkup with a specialist. Make a list of everything you can (with his help if possible), and then have the testing done. Also, make sure they check his medications for reactions and/or interactions. These can mimic dementia. Early detection is valuable, and knowing what he is facing will help.   Take care, Carol
