Q: Want to get involved in the Gene Transfer / Cero 110 research being done at Rush Univeristy

How does an Alzheimer's patient get involved in the Gene Transfer / Cero 110 research being done at Rush Univeristy?  My father has Alzheimer's and seems to be getting worse quickly.  Would love to get him involved with the latest research being done in this area.   Also, if there are any Alzheimer's studies looking at the genetic factors and needing siblings, he has two that have died with Alzheimer's and I have 8 who are probably candidates.

Hi, Diana,

Here is the link to Rush University's webpage on research: http://www.rushu.rush.edu/servlet/Satellite?c=RushUnivLevel1Page&cid=1229277694983&pagename=Rush%2FRushUnivLevel1Page%2FLevel_1_Audience_Portal_Home_Page. If I were in your shoes, I'd call the phone number listed and speak to someone about having your father involved in this or other studies.

Take care!

Dorian
