I've read different statistics, but 30% is the statistic I read the most for caregiver deaths, in general. Alzheimer's could take a higher toll, since the caregiving is so intense. You raised an interesting point that I'm going to investigate. Suffice it to say that taking care of the caregiver is important and can be a matter of life and death.
