My mother is spending money on sweeptakes (all kinds) when she would of never done this before?

I recently went through my mothers check registry to find proof of a payment for a bill and found many entries for sweeptakes and several give-away.  These give-aways as I call them added up to $2400.00.  I asked her why she was doing this and she denied entering that many.  It's…
