Did you ground or break the pills and put them in the food so she would not be aware of it? If the pill is in the form of powder, it will help. If you add sugar or flavor to it, she would not know about the pills. If she has no idea, she would not spit it out.   It is good that she slept eventually. You just need to tell her that this is the place she wants to go. One time my father-in-law went to the doctor's in the morning, then at sunset, he felt he needs to go home. He didn't realize he was home. So we took him to the kitchen and had supper (he still thought he was having supper in the hospital or cafe.) Then he walked back to his sofa and felt contented. He just wanted to have a walk "home" and we just preteneded we were going home after supper. Then he went to bed earlier that night after he took the drug. You can try to do deal with it and tell her as she wishes that she is going to a place (her bedroom) where there are people who care for her and etc.  Like a game. Don't try too hard to tell her the truth because she won't get it.   Hope this helps, Nina
