People who are very confused due to dementia or to other diseases can do many irrational things, so yes, sadly people with Alzheimer's can do things like that. It is not a deliberate act. Yes I know someone who does this. Please don't be mad with her this is just part of the disease. They can't feel themselves moving bowels or urinating, like the doctor saidit is not their fault. They just need some patience.I put my mom on a bathroom schedule so I know around when it happens, and I catch it before a disaster happens.
