Q: What meds are avaliable for "sundowner" hallucinations that won't stop?

My mother "wants to go home" every night; she cries and blames us for bringing her "here."

She has been hallucinating about this for several hours now.  We have given her Tylenol PM "Simply Sleep" 1mg Haloperidol.  She had 1 mg two hours earlier as well.  Since she recently declined to this bedridden condition 2 weeks ago, we are very unprepared to deal with this situation.  We just put her on hospice 4 days ago  Any suggestions?  Please!

we put my mom on trazadone 50mg before bed... it helped her sleep better through the night. I myself as a caregiver am on the same meds cause I can't sleep because I worry all night. mine is a stronger dose and work well for me.
