I have been struggling with this decision right now, too. Our primary care Dr. says it's time to stop the meds, as they are not providing any benefit at the end stage. The psychiatrist at the VA says keep him on them.. it can't hurt.. may help some. One thing I know is - he would be mortified if he knew how he was now. So, I have made the choice to stop them, and am praying for a quick(er) resolution to this horrible disease.
