Category:ministering to Alzh patients

As a hospice chaplain, what do you recommend in dealing with Alzheimers patients?

I am a chaplain at Long Beach Memorial Hospice, Long Beach. California. Many ofour patients are diagnosed as either dementia or Alzheimers. Ministering to them in their later stages does not seem to be helpful. What would you suggest?
