This link will give you some good answers on the stages of Alzheimer's. There isn't always a straight line. There will likely be back and forth times, and times you won't be sure what stage he or she is in. But there is some good information in that article, so you may want to give it a try.

Hi

The links that Carol and Nina have given you will help you. When you are reading the information it is worth remembering that the stages of Alzheimer's are a general guide to what you can expect when someone has the disease. There can be great individual variation in the progression of this disease and there are several models.

Having some knowledge is always helpful for people with Alzheimer's and their caregivers. It can help with issues such as care planning, finances and letting people know your wishes for medical intervention should you reach a point where you cannot make the decision yourself.
