I am thinking about starting a 8 bed home and looking at the possibility of outsourcing the operations.  Where can I find interested caregivers?

I have the experience of hiring caregivers indirectly so I talked to them a lot. Not all of them are just for dementia or AD patients. Usually you need to ask them if they have dealt with AD patients or not. It is in the experience. No such thing as AD caregivers or heart attack caregivers. It is the experience - whether they have dealt with the patients before or not. I would interview them and ask what they know about caring for an AD patient. I am sure it is easy to interview the certified nuring aids/CNAs in this job market.

The other way to do it is to train them about AD patients -  tell them the staging and symptoms and etc.

Nina
