browneeygurl,

I am no expert but have looked onto something with almost the same situation  a cpl years ago..

What Ithink I understand is that if your uncle is of sound mind someone will need to get a conservatorship (my spelling is terrible).   He being of sound mind... you will probably need a lawyer, letters from the doctors (plural) someone to manage his monies, doctors etc. then it goes to a judge where it will be iin his hands. usually ends up with what is best for the Uncle.. my ghuess with doctors and family SUPPORT, it could be done..

Talk to a lawyer about family law, shop around and ask a ton of questions..I'm in No. California and know things are different elsewhere..

Hope this might help. Good Luck
